Baptism
Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. It is the outward symbol of an inward reality—showing that you have trusted in Jesus for salvation, your sins have been forgiven, and you have new life in Him. Following the example of Jesus and the teaching of Scripture, we baptize believers by immersion, representing the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Baptism does not save us, but it is an important step of obedience for every follower of Jesus.
